First Party Auditing – Internal Audits of Management Systems.

The 1st party audits are audits conducted by a company to the management system that implements. They are conducted with the objective of continuous improvement of the System as well as for assessing the level of it’s conformity with specific standards and audit criteria. For this reason these audits are called 'Internal Audits' and the auditors who carry them out are called 'Internal Auditors'. In all the Management Systems Standard, it is a requirement that internal auditors shall be independent of the processes that are audited by them, and this in order to achieve the objectives of the audits by ensuring a certain degree of objectivity.
The ideal and recommended approach for any company is to assign the internal audits to internal auditors who are employees / executives of the company. There are however many cases where companies do not prefer (or are not able to) to allocate their own resources. This may be due to a plurality of reasons such as e.g. constrains of resources (human, technical training, education, time, etc.) or a non-achievable satisfactory degree of independence. In such cases, companies may select and assign the internal audits to outsourcing associates.
ISONIKE undertakes and conducts the internal audits and the preparation of reports to the management of companies for all Management Systems Standards, the main ones of which are the following:
